Reclaiming 118 acres of mountain heritage through active stewardship and agroforestry.
Whiskey Rock Timber is a family-led project focused on caring for 118 acres of forest land in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our goal is to steward the land responsibly while preserving the natural character of the mountain landscape.
Through forest stewardship, agroforestry, and thoughtful land management, we are working to ensure the property remains healthy and productive for generations to come.
A forested mountain property in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Patrick County, Virginia, cared for through long-term land stewardship.
Dedicated to agroforestry, including the future planting of heritage tree crops such as chestnuts.
Preserved as natural forest to protect wildlife habitat and maintainthe moutain ecosystem.
Time on the property is spent exploring the woods, restoring trails, learning the landscape, and caring for the forest. Along the way we’ve found tools, clothing, and equipment that make working on the land easier.
